About Me
My path into hypnotherapy and psychotherapy wasn’t a sudden decision — it was a gentle unfolding, shaped by years of working closely with people in a healthcare environment, listening to their stories, and providing treatment while also witnessing the deep connection between the body and the mind.
For the past 18 years, I’ve been a qualified Physiotherapist specialising in Neurology, a field I still adore and continue to work in alongside Hope in Motion. My work has allowed me the privilege of supporting people through some of the most vulnerable and transformative moments of their lives. Treatment rooted in holistic assessment over time deepened my enthusiasm for the emotional and psychological layers of healing along side the physical.
Working holistically with my patients taught me something profound: the mind and body are never separate. I saw how emotional strain could shape physical symptoms, and how hope, belief and inner calm could support recovery in ways that science alone couldn’t fully explain.
Alongside this professional insight, my own personal journey began to open new doors. Life has a way of nudging us — sometimes gently, sometimes insistently — toward the places we’re meant to grow. I felt a calling to deepen my understanding of the mind, to explore the emotional landscapes that influence our wellbeing, and to support people in a more expansive, integrative way.
That intrigue led me to psychotherapy and Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. It felt like a natural extension of everything I had already been doing — holding space, listening intently, empowering people to reconnect with their strengths, and helping them move toward a life that feels lighter, calmer and more aligned.
Hope in Motion was born from this blend of science and soul, structure and softness. It reflects my belief that healing is not just about fixing what hurts, but about rediscovering what’s possible. It’s about creating a space where people feel seen, supported and gently guided back to themselves.
This is the work that lights me up. This is the work I feel called to do. And I’m honoured to walk alongside anyone who chooses to take this journey with me.
Best Wishes
Victoria
